TERMS AND CONDITIONS
SI Advertising’s Scan and win instant prizes promotion ( Hereafter referred to as the “ promotion”)
By entering this Promotion, the participant will be deemed to have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and be bound by them.
The Promotion is organised by Sanitise Ireland Limited T/A SI Advertising (company number: 669355 ), hereafter referred to as the “Promoter”.
- The Competition is only open to residents of the Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or over
Entries are exempt for the following:
- Employees of Sanitise Ireland Limited and its affiliate companies anyone otherwise connected with the organization or Competition.
- Members of the family who are directly related to employees Sanitise Ireland Limited and its affiliate companies.
- Competition can be played, by scanning qr code displayed on the devices , which are located in 50+ locations across cork city.
General Terms
3. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the Competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
4. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this Competition.
5. The promoter holds no responsibility for the prizes once the winner receives the prize.
6. The winner will be notified about the prize collection by email or phone within 24 hours after winning. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner.
7. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected or delivered at an additional cost.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Irish data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
10. The promoter has the right to disqualify any person who is abusive towards our staff on social media or for any reason where the person is breaching the terms and conditions stated and will not be refunded.
11. The Prizes are determined, selected by the promoter and affiliate sponsers, and are owned by the promoter and affiliate sponsors from the date of the Competition going live on the Website to the date that the Winner receives the Prize.
12. Details of each Prize can be found on the QR CODE posts on our 52 devices located in cork city, the promoter takes no responsibility for the Prize awarded after delivery has taken place.
13. All prizes must be accepted for what they are and are non-transferable and no cash alternative is granted and the prize is not negotiable.
14. Prizes that are being claimed by collection at our registered office must show a passport or driver’s licence or valid photo Id to prove you are the person that won the prize provided the details match your details given when entering each Competition.
15. By entering the Competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the Competition entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the Competition or as otherwise set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, a copy of which is available on the Website.
16. If you do not wish to participate in any publicity, you must notify the Promoter prior to the Closing Date. This will not affect your chances of winning the Prize. If you do not agree to participate in any publicity about the Competition we may still provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority. This is a legal requirement that we must comply with to prove that the Competition has been properly administered and the Prize awarded.
17. If you are the winner of the Competition, you may be required to provide further personal information and proof of your identity in order to confirm your eligibility to claim the Prize and transfer ownership of the Prize to you. You consent to the use of your information in this way. You are entitled to request further details about how your personal information is being used. You may also withdraw your consent to your personal information being used in such a way but by doing so you may prevent the Prize being transferred to you. In such circumstances, you will be deemed to have withdrawn from the Competition and forfeit the Prize
18. Winners shall indemnify and hold the Promoter and their respective affiliates, directors, agents, or other partners (the “Indemnitees”) harmless from any claims, actions, proceedings, costs (including reasonable legal fees) and expenses brought or asserted by a third party against any of the Indemnitees arising as a result of the Promoter’s use of the Winner’s Relevant Post, including but not limited to any breach of third party intellectual property rights.
19. In the event that the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions and to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion or invalidate any affected entries
20. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, alter or withdraw the Promotion as necessary due to unavoidable circumstances beyond its control make this necessary, but will use all reasonable endeavours to minimize the effect on participants to avoid undue disappointment.
21. If any provisions of these Terms & Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this will not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions. The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Irish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
